About
Bassett Medical Communications is led by Jenna Bassett, PhD. Jenna earned her doctorate in Biology at the University of Pittsburgh where she studied the molecular basis of neural tube defects using X-ray crystallography, biochemistry, and cell biology.
Dr. Bassett's postdoctoral work was in Science Communication, where she translated complex research topics into non-technical language for a diverse audience. Currently, Dr. Bassett provides writing support to pharmaceutical companies, academic research groups, startups, and medical communications agencies.
Dr. Bassett is an expert communicator with over a decade of experience producing scientific manuscripts, abstracts, white papers, medical education, and advisory boards. She loves synthesizing data, sharing new information, and articulating complex topics.
